I always liked that you had to hike up there to play back there. It keeps those who might wreck the trails out of the equation and makes it feel more local or exclusive, and quieter. I'm all for the new trail though! Maintaining bike parks and trails is expensive, and so is running another chair, so it makes sense to charge.

I rode the chairlift with Sarah a few years back while in a Progression ski camp she was coaching, and all we talked about was biking. Sad to lose such a beautiful and inspiring spirit. Ski in peace S.

That chairlift sat as my desktop on 3 computers from the day it was POD, and it tooks months for me to change it to something new. At BC cup finals @ Hemlock it was in my mind every time I got on the chair. It also reminds me of the cold ride up to the Garbo race at Crankwerx. Lift POY, ALL THE WAY!

Never thought I'd see that in front of the Empress. Some POD potential.
